Windows of the Body
WINDOWS OF THE BODY
They are few inches apart,
They budge together
Though from a spot,
They sob together
Because both behold life's drama
And witness things together
Cos they are the real witness.
They sleep together,
Not any cheating on one another
Though they never see
Eye to eye, face to face
And never stroke each other,
There is no love-lost
Stuck between the two.
The same thing they woo
And choreographically spurn.
Life is harsh without them.
The closer we get to them
The more likely we see their flaws.
Like a pane to a castle
They connect me to the world.
And whether it rains nor sunshine
They still blink together,
They are the twins of life
And their affiliation is bound to be
Just like our true friends all over the globe.
