        Windows of Poetic Winners


Are those who play and no, never quit.
In poetry, their words, to the heart are soft.
Never lifting themselves above you , alolft.
They are full of energy and never do sit.

True Friendship is in their poetic, tool kit.
Poets will read you, if you never read them.
Punishing those who don’t, is unknown to them.
Never leaving old friends with empty comment pits.

The more you give the better you feel.
But, no, I don’t value the internet over life.
Love your children, friends, husbands and wives.
Above all, just be your genuine self ~keep your
Touching words, true and real!

John Read November 20, 2024 at 12:44 PM Hi Pangie, there are certain groups who only comment on each other's poems, I've seen some wonderful poems with no comments, thankfully I don't let it bother me, I have other things to do. I know poets are on line when working, when cooking, and when driving. I suggest they see atherapist No morereading any poem in a contest either.there is a thing called LIFE, many here are addicted, great Never write thousands of poems. That creates junk poetry. Senteces arenot poetry…thank yoy Pangie. Xx
