Yes we could take this one a few ways mate, a sort of bitter pill, but you got to keep on grinding corn, and the nations got the will. great poem here ...

they are still so fascinating to view Russell and in certain States they still exist luv.. a lovely reminder of days gone by but not forgotten..

And a pleasing aesthetic touch they are too, Russell. I missed out on the haiku contest...filled fast...I read a book recommended by Nette and the author wrote that to become a haiku master, one has to only write 10 good haikus in his lifetime....how close are u now? :) Thanks for sharing this. If you are writing poetry for me, you will win every time with ANYTHING patriotic and nostalgic!
