Wind Dancer
Wind Dancer
poem
Lionel Derbyshire
Blessed is the morning new
My eyes delight at the dew
Through my window light
I gaze at the sight
Of the morning glory
The willow tree sways like flory
In tune with the wind
and her branches blow left
and her branches blow right
and they bow down.
to show off
their splendour
ending in serene silence.
Quietly
the wind cries again
the dancing starts again
left and right
little up and little down.
The willow in her
morning glory dance.
Over performing.
Her wind dancing
Just showing me
How she dance's
With the wind.
