Wind
Wind
is the breath of God,
softly, gently reaching out
kissing the forehead of man.
There are times
when it rages angrily
disappointed and giving us warning
to be careful with what we do.
Some times it embraces us with thunder
lightning and torrential rains
or with sleet and ice and snow
in disapproval and disappointment.
Then comes the calm
the warm embracing moments
of a Creator's love and care
that soothes the heart and raises the spirit.
Wind rises slowly, effortlessly
with the breath of sky and trees
floating tenderly across the horizon
revealing the radiance of the Sun, the Son.
Each breeze speaks to us
begs for listening, hearing and understanding,
it is we who chose to hear, listen, embrace
the wind, the breath and voice of God.
