Willy Struggled To Get It Up

Young Willy arranged to go camping
alas, he struggled erecting his tent
he tweeted he had terrible ******** problems
I hope his parents knew what he meant!

Next year he said he’ll go glamping
or hire a log cabin out in the wood
then he won’t have ******** difficulties
and his tweets can’t be misunderstood!

Lol! Jan, This is funny. Poor, poor Willy. As you know poetry is subjective. Some will like what you write and others won't. In my book humor is the best medicine ever! Write on limerick Queen. Congratulations on getting the poem of day:-) Alexis

Oh I am inspired Arthur - got a 4 stanza limerick to post on toe fungus and then working on one on the male menopause - I'll never be bullied on the site again - I'm like a weeble now you can knock me but I will bounce back:-) hugs jan xx

There's no place for such sarcasm as was directed at you below, Jan. I recall him pulling a similar act of ridicule on Anne-Lise, but I'm sure you're not about to remove your verses. Nor should you. What about the old saying..."If you can't say something nice....."

Lol, this was a really nice and fun little write,when he said"erecting problems"he should have been more explicit or if he would have chosen his words more carefully, there sure wouldn't be a misunderstanding and even next year, he could went to camping, anyway many congratulations to you on your poem being chosen as POTD, I really enjoyed reading it, good luck and have a really nice day
