Willow (2)

Loose green tendrils hanging low,
kiss the soft green earth, the bough
kneels with the wind
as if in prayer, a penitent so
humble and predictable, and
just the same as others of its kind;
a pliant bow

that's unreleased, yet like to spring
to heaven with a wish,
a stately, monumental king
of meadow and a murmuring stream,
in haze conceal'd, a misty dream,
a graceful monolith 'twould seem,
cloaked in a blue-grey hush.

"Willows" Kind of a sensitive, pastoral fantasy. Makes one want to spread a blanket on a warm day and dream away. Enjoyed mucho. Love, daver

Oh man, you are so gifted and talented, Keith! You find beauty in many places, and you're able not just to see it, but to open it up its doors to others. Interesting finish, the last line is like a button holding the whole piece together. I'd like to apologize for the dummie 'emperor' comment. I only wished for you to smile. Anyhow..I hope you have a great weekend..many smiles and much kindness! God bless you and yours..Love, Mikki
