Will You Stand

Will you stand with me
in the winds of space?
Will you stand with me
in the vacuum of grace?
The black and the cold
the nights growing old.
Will you?
Tell me-Look there!
Do you see it?
Yes - yes!
The comet trail,
the furthest star!
That is all I need
for years and years.
And beyond.
Communion.
Communication.
And I will look
for you
and stand with you.
Perhaps that joy
fills the void
and warms the Heart
of hearts of all.

Ah, the vastness of space! So much to see and comprehend and to hope that someone understands with you. Demonstrated so well in this poem.
