Will You Be There

~ ...and the yonge sonne, hath in the Ram his halve course y-ronne... ~ Canterbury Tales, Geoffrey Chaucer Today is Tuesday, all day but in the middle of the night it'll be Wednesday. Will you be there to greet the new day... Perhaps you greet the New Year on January 1, which is a new day too Do you greet each month, instead of each day -- in lieu... The Gregorian calendar's based on the sun, so why doesn't a new day start when its race is run; that's how the lunar calendar views it... The pale white satellite, or semicircle, or banana commencing its journey in the early eve passing its weary friend, a fresh face for twilight along with a 'hostess of twinklies' to light up the night

Some will not be there to greet a new day and there will be many regrets. I hope to never end a day wishing I had done or said something and then wake up with a regret of something left unsaid or undone. Nicely written.

Admirable trait you've got there. I start the day that way... Actually the previous night when I go to sleep... As for getting to sleep, waking up 'on time,' planning my work and working my plan, well... Let's just say that "It's a work in progress." So, good for you, Julia. Thanks, Gershon

I believe each new day is another chance to do better. We can't erase the things we have already said and done but we can try to make amends for the mistakes and learn from yesterday, use what we learned from yesterday to make today better and prepare for tomorrow. (and remember: God forgives and forgets, people don't) Love this Gershon. God Bless, JB

Judy, it's a treat to read your observations. Please never 'whittle them down.' The longer, the better. Really! Thank you so much, Gershon

Oh joy, lunatic!... Perhaps you can help with my (shh - this is so embarrassing!) -- my lunar tic. ~ Man in the Lunar Tock
