Will She
Will she stop being ever so stubborn
making things so difficult?
Though she's built tougher than iron
she knows not who she hurt.
Will she ever love him again
forgive trespasses and guilt?
All that's left are bones and veins
exposed never to be rebuilt.
Will she come back to his arms
forsaking genuine love and charms?
If she doth return to the fold
will she treasure the work, his gold?
Will she learn to smile again
overlook the small details?
A long face is all in vain
why expose all doubts and fails?
Will she learn to be contented
no that his hands are free from stain;
Heaven or hell is how thou maketh'
choose the joy that will remain.
Will she ever learn that God is Just
both parties wrong before His sight;
can he learn to love as now lost
O' Lord please help, stretch forth Thy Might.
