Will Rogers Would Be Proud
Will Rogers Would be Proud
When you will be up against a tall wall
Place prayer to God receiving return call
Creating such an extraordinary scene
God's voice was on my answering machine.
Message was loud and clear that God sent
"Believe in My Son and always repent,"
For sins, lies and stories Trump had told
Doing things daringly as well as bold.
Went through troubles filled with grief
And then through Bible I started to leaf
After God had decided that I was inept
Created a verse that said "Jesus wept."
No wonder Jesus wept after He kept
seeing just how inept all of us were.
In our lives he should be our shining star.
Wise men knew where their camels to park
God's parking meters glowed in the dark
And when He wanted us to be well-behavid
Said we should read verses about David.
Here is another Hornism for you.
"If you can't find a word that rhymes,
make one up yourself." Will Rogers
would be proud of me.
