Will I Survive

 You hurt me
You broke me
You might as well have killed me
Will I survive
After you
Tortured my heart
Played with my feelings
Will I survive
After you dumped me
Like I was a bag of trash
After you told me I was useless
Will I survive
After I gave you all the love I had in me
After I gave you my all
Will I survive

Remember that it is you who are the captain of your life. You may have to try lots of different things, but there is a spark within you. I see it in your writing. You have a heart of gold. It just needs a little push in the right direction from your best friend--you! Find someone to talk to. There are counselors at school if you are in that realm. You sound like a wonderful young person. I will be here from time to time if you want. Remember that what you have to do is hard.

So, one really hard thing to do is to find what you like to do and do it. Then, things will start to happen in a positive way. It sounds simple but it is not easy to find a path. There's no real instant happiness. Some people seem to have a charted course and others do not. This has taken me a lifetime to experience and figure out. At times I have been on a dead end and had to try something else. The work, travel. and experience makes your identity and will allow you to feel good about u.

Thank-you for your comment. I have been through many years and many tears along the way. So, I know what this feels like. Life has taught me I can't have what I want when I want it. But it can still be wonderful because through time and travail, things tend to work out. Keep on writing because you have what it takes!

You better survive because you have a talent for this. And you are no bag of trash. You are a sensitive and wonderful human being with a lot of love hidden in reserve inside your heart.
