Will Hereafter Come

Gradually, rays of sky dim
A stark blanket wrapping the woodlands
Night...too cold
Each branch thinning across clayed earth
And I am wrought with blaming thoughts ..
Birds growling my loneliness
I search for lamplight's glint
Still the pain and angush return
A wound , an abrasion that diesn't heal
Emptying 'me again
where thoughts beg;
will hereafter null this existence?
