Will die where you die
#Will_die_where_you_die
Rapture nor reincarnation,
never been ready like now.
Said I was ready,
for you said you were too here to stay.
So much uncertainities have ravished my peace, hope has long passed me by.
So much much pain have bruised my soul,
made me numb and surrendered to life.
In a hopless space,
my mind defeated,
my heart worn-out.
only appriciated the gift of life,
The only thing that painted my face with a smile. Long had I packed my heart from the love scene, said a scene for nothing was pretty there, emotional stains everywhere, messy and daunting, an emotional traumatic scene.
Took a leap of faith with you,
They said we only lived once,
I said if its not with you I be not counted.
You said you will be here, not for me but with me
That to my ears, send shivers down my spine, a feeling uncommon to my body, certainity!
Cleared my closet, for many dead emotions were left in there to die. Made space for a new beginning, this time with a die trying mindset.
Said I liked you, instead of I loved you,
Felt my heart firmly grabbed by colossal emotions,
This is love not infatuation, a voice at the back of my head whispered. My mind kept correcting that statement but my tongue was stuck.
The grit in your voice, forged my heart out of fear, doubt and hopelessness. Standing here unwaveringly so, I said I will die where you die
