Wilderness For Me
I lay my head to rest in a place created from visions within the wilderness of my very own soul.
Alone but never lonely-surrounded by sought after peace-in the created wilderness for only me.
Where the genuine me - comes alive - without introduction - for everything around is familiar.
A place barren to all others - but cultivated from the desires of my heart - the very inner me.
Imagine me – thought of by Him – hidden away yet not forgotten-for none but me - by Him.
Elements within give hope without - words in the warm winds-give reassurance something’s on the horizon.
Sands under the soles of my feet - burn with the desires to move -where no one dwells except me.
Sun’s heat – deters intruders who have nothing to offer to the progress of my process – invitation only.
Thunder-roars and resonates throughout the wilderness-announcing that something’s on its way.
Powerful lightening flashes in the distance- bringing with it -the strength of the rain that’s about to fall.
Rain to refurbish all my dry places and nourish newness about to bloom within my soul.
The creator has heard me – my cry for peace – surpassing all understanding of mortal man.
Mighty albatross spread your wings and soar for there is room for you in this wilderness for me.
