Wild Horses

In dreams I ride bareback the wild horses
Long hair loose and flowing behind
free as their manes and tails
As gentle breeze embraces my form
Moonlight mesmerising my mind
as I trip through the stars
Exhilarated, racing heart, free to roam
Unrestricted on barren lands
Returning back to horizons reality.

Sounds like we share the same type of dreams, Anna-Marie. In our Western states they're gathering up the Mustangs again. Wish they could just be allowed to roam free, but farmers have problems with them. Great poem, my friend! Love, carolyn
