Notes About The Poem

Suzette's 'A Personal Valentine Contest ~ 2/5/25

Wild Gypsy Dancer

For her own sensual pleasure, she loved to dance
Never giving in again, to her need for romance
for once, long ago, a man had broken her heart
To this wild gypsy woman, the dance was an art
Her torrid gyrations were evidence of her passion
Sensual, her heart to passion

Dear Lin, Ahh such fiery independence, a soul reborn in rhythm and movement. I see that there’s such strength in her defiance, yet an undeniable passion that refuses to be dimmed. A beautifully created and powerful expression of resilience! Winter Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Hello, friend Daniel. There's much that I admired in my Gypsy dancer in addition to those you mentioned. Independence being a great trait. Thanks a bunch.

I could NOT even wrap my mind around the directions for this contest. I admire that you pulled off such an admirable and enjoyable poem BUT I can't comment on its contest fit - again, clueless. Hugs ... CayCay

Hi CayCay. What your comment revealed to me was that you liked my lines enough to do so. That’s good enough for me. ;-)
