Step out and get touched by Mother Nature’s magnificent cadence 
Forgo your shoes once in a while
Feel the caring earth underneath your bare feet sometimes
Get hugged by breezes of cool calming wind
Listen to the sounds of whistling leaves’ chimes
Feel silky smooth petals of various flowers
Touch barks of tree trunks to sense diverse textures
Eavesdrop on visiting birds’ tweets and peeps
Wonder about the magnificent colors of ladybugs, butterflies and bees
Watch closely busy insects’ awe-inspiring flights
Notice their smooth landings on blossoms to suck delicious fluids
Smell the fragrances of roses, jasmines and gardenias
Feel the refreshing breaths of their enchanting aromas
Find out how squirrels take naps by cuddling on tree branches
Appreciate the sheer beauty of nature’s wonderful plays
Be present and enjoy every moment
Mother Nature has so many wide-open secrets

Hello Smita. Absolutely beautiful poem. Anything concerning nature always touches my soul. And what better way than connecting to the planet, by touching our bare feet to mother earth. Thank you for sharing. :-)
