Why Not
Ask me why not.
It is all that I see,
Selfies and likes,
Our society.
Please ask me why not.
We fight and we moan,
Always offended,
Just to pick a bone.
Then ask me why not.
So hard to handle,
All the obsession,
With racial scandal.
So ask me why not.
Many choose to pray,
Yet we never keep,
Our hatred at bay.
But ask me why not.
We just can't decide,
Our moral compass,
Now a lost guide.
Just ask me why not.
Because if you do,
White is for peace,
We're red, yellow, blue.
Won't ask me why not?
Fine, I'll say it then,
We need to love all,
Like color blind men.
