Why My Mouth Is Filled With Poison

Your sour words cut into me Sweetly As they roll off the tip of your snake tongue They dance down my rough back I caress your scales softly-gently And though I know its deadly, I watch your fangs sink into me deeper and deeper Until I’m filled with your poison Now paralyzed and unable to move I know, that none of this is true.
