Why My Life

I want life for death always shows his face
Stuck inside this world of tears
When will my day come when I cry no more
I no longer look back on my past
I no longer have visions of my mom laying cold and stiff
I no longer ask God why me, why my life

How did I become a loving father when I didn't have one
How do I still have a heart when it got ripped out my chest
How do I still walk when my soul been took
I need to be set free from this world of tears
Today is the day I cry no more
For God showed me the reason, why my life

hi Darryl, I can feel the raw passion and pain in this write, pray to the heavenly father, whatever you are going through, he can and will heal you, sometimes things happen for a reason, and we don't always understand, but know that God is never the reason for pain and suffering, he allows us to go through things, but he is not the reason, I will pray that you find solace and peace, take care D-nyce

Hi Darryl. First of all, I thank you so kindly for a truly beautiful comment. I must say, this is quite emotional, and I do hope for you, there is a new beginning here, and your days grow lighter and brighter. There is something in this poem, perhaps the fact that most of us have had something truly painful and difficult to deal with in our past, that we can relate to. I wish you good luck and great joy. Hoping your holiday season is wonderful. Love, Shar

I hope you really have no reason to cry any more. Moving on and starting anew is difficult, but a fresh look at the world can be a beautiful thing. Good luck! ~ Carrie P.S. Thank you for stopping by and reading another of my poems today. :) God Bless

The answer to our questions are sometimes best left alone. I can relate to this poem a lot because I often asked the same questions, only to be reminded that they are bigger than me.
