Why Live a Lie
You live a lie, you die a lie.
When the truth falls down
It lands on broken promises
And shattered dreams.
Why do some people lie habitually?
Do they enjoy their phony lives?
Do they enjoy hurting others?
Do they enjoy hurting their loved ones?
When we walk in truth we are lauded for it.
Others desire to be in our presence,
Because they know where they stand with us.
But for those who speak lies they are dismissed.
In the light of truth there is nothing
Dark or foreboding. Trust flourishes, Love blooms
Dreams are fulfilled, promises are kept and
deciete has no place.
Anger and disappointment are not known
In the light of truth because hearts are not broken there.
So why live a lie?
