Why I'M Not Currently Making Any Money At This Poetry Stuff

“Poetry is useless,” she thinks,
“especially mine, 'cause it stinks!
But what can I do?
I can’t follow through
on any sort of sensible job training, even that of learning to rhyme properly.”

Someday, Christine, this will be found in a yellowing manuscript and VIOLA!!! Posthumous fame and fortune will be yours. Maybe you can tell the landlord to hold the check for a few decades.

Or more likely, a yellowing, decaying CPU from my computer, since I've never actually committed it to dead-tree paper! But I get your drift! Thanks for the funny comment! :-)
