Thanks Susan. I have a small rock garden with a Buddha. As I was weeding the area around the Buddha I looked up and caught him smiling.....and asked..."why does the Buddha smile"......this was the answer.....thanks for stopping by to read and comment

Hey, Connie, I think it was a book entitled "IF YOU MEET THE BUDDHA ON THE ROAD - KILL HIM" that whet my appetite and interest in whatever Buddhism is....or isn't. Thanks for reading and commenting.

yes 'attachment' is an inherent problem ...so one must constantly remind them self of the spiritual pleasures turning life's ups and downs to joy brings
