Why Do We Laugh When Our Hearts Want To Cry

Why do we laugh when our hearts want to cry?
To prove everyone you’re strong?
But why?
Is showing weakness that really wrong?

I’ll ask again
Why do we laugh when our hearts want to cry?
But we’re hoping a time when
Time could just quickly fly

One more time
Why do we laugh when our hearts want to cry?
But is doing so a crime?
More treacherous than a tainted lie?

Why am I laughing now?
As my heart wants to cry?
Somebody please teach me how
To accept one’s unsaid goodbye

Hello, Shan. Crying is not a sign of weakness. I think it shows strength when a man is not afraid to show his emotions. I like this. ~ Lin ~
