Why Do I Write
For the connections it gives,
The emotion it stirs.
As hope rises and tears fall.
Laughter joins us and evil is defeated.
The oceans that keep us apart
Are easy for words to cross.
Heroes become more than something imagined in our mind.
The world can be changed by friendship and love.
Minds and hearts of readers can change.
With that change, actions done will be better for all.
The many will become one.
Thus the world will become a better place.
