Why Did You Beat Me
What did I do to deserve this pain?
All I ever did was the love you
But all you ever wanted to do is strike me with the back of your hand
5 years later
And you are still the same person
We first started to date
It was great
But as the days turn into weeks
And the weeks turn into months
And the months turn into years
The abuse you gave me
Only got worse
I can't sit here and take it any longer
I've decided to leave today
And when I walked to the front door
With my bags pack
You got in my face and ask where you think you’re going
I said I'm leaving you
You raised your hand to me
Now I'm in the Hospital
With the cops at my bedside
Asking me what happen
All I could say was It was your entire fault.
