Why Can'T We All Just Get Along

“Why can't we all just get along” Rodney King once uttered these words As current today as it was back then Our “head in the sand” thinking, it disturbs We're all just members of the human race Why divide us up, us and them Brothers that will meet our maker one day What's so very important until then In the overall scheme of earthly things Only love should rise above all Colour, language and religion all secondary Co-existence must be installed Maybe I'm just whistling into the wind But if my small voice does make a difference Then hear me loud and clear as I shout To reject it is a display of ignorance © Jack Ellison 2014

Fear rules ignorance. It will be hear long after were gone. Yes those pleasent thoughts of hoping and wishing, well thats good for our current personal moments. Start by doing our part, when we come in contact with others. Sometimes it works. I sure liked your poem Jack, you raised some valid issues. We need to continue practicing up to the time for us to part.

I agree! People should All get along. It would be so much better when battling those marauding cacti! Got my brothers motor bike out and am ready to go! Dragon can sit on the front handle bars! I don't need to know where I'm going with Terror Dragon in front... OOOPS! came to the hall end! OK! OK! I'll put him in a side car! Fortunately, his head was strong! Movie is shaping up well. But with Dragon's food breaks... Movie at 11. Go team Dragon! We're running out of cacti here! Get some more!
