Why Are We Here

so, why are we here? 
    this existential question,
         enduring, complex.
the answer? LOVE. without it,
      life holds no meaning.

        to love and be loved
  in return, to serve the Lord,
           and to be useful;
        our reason for living
   love makes way for peace.

            we can't co-exist
   without it, as war will reign
      like the air we breathe,
 we need love to keep thriving;
    love one another, love God.
