Why am I different?

                                                         Sun does not  borrow light 
                                                      Flowers do not steal fragrance.
                                                          Birds do not mimic songs
                                                               Virtues are intrinsic

                                                          River flows,  breeze blows, 
                                                            Dawn breaks, dusk falls
                                                           Dew drops, child smiles
                                                          Beauty blends with purity  

                                                          Nature is purpose per se
                                                       Exuding love, hope and trust
                                                             All is without motive
                                                        Expecting nothing in return

                                                     Why am I tainted with motives? 
                                                          Why do I expect returns?
                                                          Why am I unlike the rest
                                                         Am I not a part of nature?
