Why
Why am I here that's what I've heard.
What is my purpose that's what many want to know.
Let me suggest the following.
You are here because you are meant to be.
This is your allotted time.
You did not spring into existence.
Happenstance did not cause you to land
Where are you are.
Why are you and I hear?
We are here to occupy a space.
A space meant only for us.
Yours for you mine for Me.
What is my purpose for being in this life?
Let me suggest the following.
Perhaps something great awaits you.
But what do you consider great?
Finding a cure for some disease.
Or a lifetime spent offering kind words
And helping hands.
Your only purpose maybe
To meet that one person who is at their lowest point
And say those few words that lift them up
And put them back on track to achieve their goal.
Why does our purpose have to be grand or lofty?
Why can't our purpose be this?
To make others smile.
To lift them up.
To encourage them.
To be there when they need a shoulder.
To offer guidance and Assistance.
I'm not saying don't set goals
Or strive hard to achieve them.
What I am saying is
Stop trying so hard to find your purpose
And let your purpose find you.
