Why

My markings were deep
They bled as the devil did his due
I was fighting, trying to get a grip
under bondage
thirsting for freedom without a sip
Then I remembered:
"for those who thirst, He shall give freely living water"
I drank
I felt alive for the first time in my life
and I cried like an infants first real tears
It is human nature and so newborn like, to cry sometimes,
as to why, we don't know
