Why

WHY

Why?
Why, oh my soul, you perpetually
Are yearning to:
See the unseen
Hear the unheard
Feel the unfelt
Touch the untouchable
Attain the unattainable
Believe the unbelievable
Think the unthinkable
Conceive the inconceivable
Know the unknowable
Appreciate the unappreciable
Express the inexpressible
When, no heart of Man, ever able will be
To understand the purity of your language,
Its honesty and grandeur
Unless
Totally it is submerged
To
Poetry’s divine depths?

Thank you, Karl, for your visit and comment! Writing poetry is somehow a sixth sense, isn't it?

A very deep and thoughtful thing to write The explanation of the inspiration was profoundly moving. Such eloquent comments to a fellow poet. I have used comments from other poets as inspiration as well. This is stunning :)
