Whose Side



Then Moses stood in the gate of the
camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’s
side? let him come unto me ...
Exod. 32:26


There comes a time in your life,
where you gotta make that choice
No middle ground,
no sitting on the fence
Will you be on the wrong side
of history,
Or will you be on the right?
Will you be a day trader,
or a traitor in the night?
Will you be a lover of righteousness,
or unholy delights?
Will you keep your mouth shut
and do nothing, 
when dirty deeds are being done
that ain’t clean in God’s sight?
Or will you be a faithful soldier of the LORD,
putting up the good fight?
Those are the kind of choices you gotta make
to inherit eternal life
Choose between
Jesus Christ the Messiah,
or the devil Satan,
whose a pathological liar
One is gonna tell you the truth,
the other is gonna tell you a lie
One will bring you back to life,
the other is gonna let you die
It’s up to you to choose which side!
The Devil is gonna temptingly
put your faith to the test
The LORD is gonna put all your doubts to rest
One is gonna make you stumble and fall,
the other is gonna pick you up and brush you off
One is gonna enslave your soul,
the other is gonna set you free
Do you wanna stay in a sin prison, or be let go?
These are choices you gotta make
You gotta decide ... you have to choose which side!
Will it be left, or will it be right;
will it be crooked, or will it be straight — 
Which road will you take?
You’re at the crossroad,
which decision will you make?
Will you be on the wrong side
of history,
Or will you be on the right?
Will you be a day life trader,
or a death dealer in the night?
Will you follow the voice of the Messiah,
or listen to Lucifer, a pathological liar?
Which side will you be on
when the battle of Good versus Evil
is waging strong
And when the war is over,
with the wicked being overthrown ...
Did you pick the losing side 
to be standing on?
And when the Book of Life is opened,
is your name gonna be there,
or will it be erased and gone?
Will you still be having wrong thoughts
looking at the King of kings 
sitting on the right side of the Throne?!
