Who's Kidding Who

We’ve lost the ability
to laugh at ourselves …
P.C. humor both lifeless
and dry
Our levity as tepid
as our character flawed
Fraying the tightrope
—awaiting a fall

Fraying the tightrope…awaiting a fall? Great line. Comedy must be PC. Try reality! You may get arrested, now. Second City~ troupe, Chicago. Stand up comedienne, Chicago and San Francisco in 1976.

Most likely quite accurate, Kurt. There's nothing worse than "tepid levity". Not that it matters a lot, but grammatically the title s/b "Who's Kidding Whom"...I believe "Grammar Check" or "Grammarly" should have caught that.

Thanks Jim, I regularly defy grammar if I like the word flow.
