Who You Are
From day one you have been this great addiction that i badly want to keep. You're this flavour i want to sip and this healing song i devour with my soul never wanting it to end.
You're this journey am excited to walk, this valley i rest and chill, a wonder mountain i stand and stare at sweet things to the eye . You're my adventure that i cravingly explore, a fire that charges me up, making me warm and putting a glow all over me.
You're this perfect tickle that makes me laugh, this thrill that runs through my whole nerves. You're this brook that i draw and drink from, this spring that i pant for.
You're this shower that cools me off, this ink that writes out my sweet tales. You're this aroma, a perfect fragrance in my life, this lilly sending her scent all through my life.
You're this warm honey comb harvested from a fresh hive, this juice squeezed out of the marrow of nature delicacies.
You're this tasty chocolate, mixed in a cup of fresh hot milk with spices that make me hold unto the cup forever. You're a perfectly baked cake worth a million bites per minute. A hot pizza served to a hungry man.
You're this movie i never get tired of watching, this hit song i can't get over. You're this country song, sung with depth and ease making my blood flow faster. You're this guitar strum that pulls all to stare this code of notes that makes me skip a breathe.
You're this melody, sounding like heaven, this my rhythm settling me home. You're this essay toned with high diction, this poem full of life whose lines that i don't want to end.
You're my country girl, my lovely wife
