Who Would I Be
If I could be anyone
who would I be?
Would I be someone else
or would I still be me?
Would I be a movie star
with fortune and fame?
Although I doubt I'd be happy
and that would be a shame.
How about a pop star
with talent to spare?
But I don't think I'd like
all those people who stare.
What about a model
or perhaps a beauty queen?
But do I want my face
on a magazine?
How about a millionaire
with bucket loads of money?
But would it change my bread and butter
into milk and honey?
What about an artist
of who great things are said?
Although they're never appreciated
until they're actually dead!
Of all these people
who would I be?......
I think i'll just settle
for plain old me!
