Who Will Save the Nation

Who will save this nation from despair? Speak in a loud voice because the end is near. This country is infested with crime and violence, But looking around all I can hear is a deafening silence. Who will wipe away these tears from my eyes? Speak in a loud voice for all I can hear are lies. And as our mothers cry out in pain and agony, I feel their awful pain, anger and misery. Every day we hear of corruption in high places, But we hide their guilt with no names or faces. Everywhere you turn children are cold and lonely, They come to accept their faith as part of their journey. Please stop robbing the innocent youth, Give them a chance to experience the truth. Who will save the future generation today? Because as I look around all I can see are guilty faces turning away.
