Who Said
WHo said my life had to be carved and painted and placed on display for all to see?
That my actions would create a tornado and cyclone of disaster behind me
That I had to mimic my ancestors course of history
Instead of making my own masterpiece
Who said that I would be doomed to trials and tribulations placed before me
But I rose again and again standing tall and strong like an oak tree
Didn't bother me when others turned me down bowing their heads in shame
Yet I continued like the strong person I was meant to be
Who said that everyone's blueprint was stamped loser or winner or rich or poor
Only God can judge us once we've entered that door
I placed my name card under determined strong minded and willing to try
Knowing one day we will laugh smile frown and cry
