Who May I Be To Thee

As a little girl I heard God plea
Every time I turn around
I run into what I have found
I cannot stop thinking when these thoughts began
Many people may have had a hand
Grew up to respect
The eyes that inspect
Drew out our hands
To allow others to stand
Deep down you are just like us
All that I shall need is your infinite trust
Next time you see them on the street
Walk up to talk and then have a seat
When in prayer please focus
Our love for the homeless
You never know the friend that you may meet
God in disguise may greet your feet
