Who I Use To Be

I can't be
Who I use to be
Because who I use to be
was hindering me
Keeping me from a better me
Stuck in my ways
Suffering from my self
inflicted afflictions
So, I had to seek and
spiritually eat
And that lead me to the
reconditioning of my mind
Leaving all foolish things behind
I don't want to be
Who I use to be
Because who I use to be
was hindering me
Keeping me from a better me
That person is no longer
Now that I'm spiritually, mentally,
and emotionally stronger
