Who I Am

Who I am 

I am complex not simple,
I need a hug from time to time.
I am caring and trustful,
I am afraid of many things,
I am shy and quiet.
I am far from perfect.
I am lonely and scared, 
I am intelligent.
I am withdrawn,
This is who I am.
I am afraid of relationships,  
 They have always gone wrong. 
I am a little girl on the inside,
trapped in a young ladies body. 
From the outside everything looks honky dory,
I am a fighter and a survivor for this is my life.
I break down and cry but I am always alright.
Because I am me and for that I will get by!!

We're afraid of relationships because most of the time we try to force ourselves into one where we may not belong. Don't change who you are or who you want to be because you're trying to get someone to like you

Joyce Johnson April 16, 2011 at 4:08 PM I live straight across the United States from you in Washington State. it is beautiful here when we don't have too much rain which we do have right now. Our Puget Sound country has a reputation for having too much rain but I just read some statistics that reveal that New York City gets more average rainfall than we do. Good luck to you. Love, Joyce
