Who I Am

What am I to this world just another child looking for a home?
No, If that's what you think then you're wrong.
Born in a cellar with no one to care for me but look at what all of that hardship has
created!
They call me a monster, they call me a fiend, they look at me like " Dude, what are you!?"

Finally found someone who cares for me! P.S. her name is Jasmine.
Notified my heart and it finally awoke.
I feel a warmth inside.... what is it? Not even the Lord knows.

Who I am is the name of this poem but it feels like I'm being dragged down by the devil.
I'm too young to write a poem? Well think twice before you look at my age!
I'm only thirteen years old, I still need you to direct me in this last line of the poem.

John, I began writing poetry at thirteen. I was that age when my father died. I was moved to communicate and to know ... and these ingredients are in your poem. Wisdom does not belong to the aged alone, but it is locked in the silence of our hearts. Be patient as your word expose the treasure of your soul ... no eyes have seen before. Welcome to poetry soup, I am your friend always, willing to help. You are in a world of friends.
