Used to live in Chicago for a while. Never stayed. Despite Sox, lake address, green lake on St Patrick's Day, Oprah..too much crime seeping into my family's "safeness" Too bad. Used to have a bowl of change I dug into before walking down the street to pass out as I walked. Never knew where it would go. Miss Chicago sometimes, but not often

You know, I don't stray too far from home anymore... Right now one-quarter of the city is very safe; that's the quarter I'm in. BUT, downtown, Chicago's big attraction, has become a hangout for gangbangers and carjackers, and tourists are starting to take notice and avoid the attractions. ~ THE END IS NEAR FOR CHICAGO.
