Who Are We Anyway

My reflection in the moonlit pond
The owls are watching
The bullfrogs, the loons
The trees, the mountains, the stars
I hear what they say
How insignificant we are

I just had to come and mark this a FAVE, as I want to return to it again and again, to keep myself grounded. Thank you for this profoundly moving and meaningful poem, Tim. Best wishes, Gershon

A nice touch on this one, Tim... The vastness of Nature surely juxtaposes with our puny insignificance. I am reminded of it whenever I go deep into a forest or to the shores of a large body of water... ~ gw
