Who Am I?

I drive the clouds that cover the sun
and rain down on everyone.
My power grows with my intensity
while all of nature bows before me.

I am lord of the sea and land.
I can scourge the earth with a heavy hand,
or gently lift a bird on wing
and scatter seeds to bloom in Spring.

Come out to play and we will meet.
I'll swirl the leaves around your feet,
or send your kite way up high
to tickle the face of the sky.

Who am I?

This made me smile! Such a lyrical and lifting piece. Love it!

Nicely done, Jan. I wonder who will 'wind' up guessing what it is that you have personified here. Keep smiling, Gershon

Thank you, Gershon. I didn't write this for the contest, although it inspired me. I wanted to write something that a child could enjoy so this was my approach. Wishing you good inspirations., Jan.
