White Spots
Pollen rushing
though the grass
as chipmunks dig
thoughtlessly.
White spots, a fawn
darts into
the morning sun
Doe's eyes sail,
opaque. Her child.
A hand through
the fence rouses
her over
the pure white spots
soon to fade.
She eats.
