White Pickett Fence

Not all of us get the white picket fence in our youth. But I wouldn't trade what you had to tell you the truth. Your up bringing may not have been like that in a storybook. But you had someone there for you no matter how much it took. I know everyone thinks that their mom is one in a million. But I know for sure yours was one in a billion. She faced things that are most people's worst fears. And lived more than a lifetime in a mere twenty-seven years. She was selfless and loving and unbelievably strong. She never claimed to be perfect as she often knew she was wrong. She taught you never to put up with games and though many have tried. As she would say they can take it somewhere else or we can take it outside. She was a tomboy and princess all rolled into one. Her eyes dark as night skin golden tan from the sun. Beauty for her was something that was so plain to see and I do. But if you asked her what was beautiful she would say it was you. She taught you to be pretty inside and out. And from your mom we all learned what life's all about. She showed you love like only she could. And if she could still be here with you, I know that she would. Although your time with her was just a short stint. You learned from her what unconditional love truly meant. Though it's been hard and you miss her as she was far too soon put to rest. I wouldn't trade her for the world because your mom was simply the best.
