White Peacock

They say I am a bird of paradise My angelic white feathers do agree I am as pure as the Himalayan snow God must have bathed me in milk My shining blue eyes are in stark contrast to my sparkling plumes Crystal white, I am strikingly handsome I dance in the rain The white crown on my regal head proves that I am majestic My love says yes I can sense her watching me from afar She smiles and I shiver with love She knows I will be hers, faithful for eternity I dance in the rain We are made to be together No one else can come between us Our pure love is forever She comes closer I can feel her intense eyes burning into mine She knows I am beautiful We dance in the rain. 07.17.2020

Whether completely white or multicolored, peacocks are beautiful birds, and I don't blame them for being proud of it! Your personification and romantic side of it are very well presented, Jo. Regards // paul
