My pen’s whispers melt the silence With a breathless touch of compassion Blended into hues of softest memories Soothing my melancholy with brilliant Arrays of charming roses opening petals To a golden sun who lights up the dawn And sends reflections of faith to the noon Coloring the world with embers of hope Like a warm embrace lulls my doubts and fears From their place inside my anxious thoughts Echoes of creativity swim through my waves Of emotional trembles, teaching me to reminisce Evoke sensations of gentle truth through my Sensitive impressions of gloom and mystery Enhancing my spirit with dreams of serenity Abiding within my heart and soul, pouring fervor Erasing all the crimson discouragement and blue Flickers of uncertainty, reluctantly I appeal to joy For the chance needed to feel fully, completely All the exhilaration that I know lives within me Where pride prays to humility and awakens the flow Of sensitivity, capturing my feelings in the mystery Designed by intrigue and inspiration, imagination Painting the world in rewarding embers of elation When I write from the core of my soul, opening My heart to love that overflows with gentle bliss I know the reason I feel so intently, so furiously The passion that mesmerizes and enchants me Keeps me alive with phenomenal fascinations Thrilling the desires within, flaming lights striking Radiant rays of promise, potential, possibilities Dancing on the wings of captivating wisdom When my pen reaches in – I grasp pure, flawless truth A knowing that pours forth dreams from the soul! Only God knows the muse that opens thoughts Pierces wishes and awakens the truth of visions Discovered within the one who sings a song of love To the creator of all that is or has been or will be The One who knows the heart’s deepest mysteries And answers the prayers of every waking spirit!

Your lines are shadowed with thoughts and visions, sometimes appearing only in the mind, but if it generates verses such as yours, that's inspiration in its highest form. Congratulations, Regina.

Regina, your poem grabbed me, in the sense that it demanded I step into it. A marvellous ride resulted. Full of energy and grace. Utterly crisp comparisons, your fluid outpouring translates spectacularly.

Wow that is some opening stanza... You've really developed as a poet and this is one of your best and a fave for me... And I don't like poems about religion! It is our creator who knows our ways and what our heart feels ... I rely lik d your vocabulary here and usage of words to describe your feelings..
